Happy 4th!
This past weekend I went to Fort Smith to visit Meghan and Mike. Meghan's parents always hold a big Fourth of July party. Most of the time we spent visiting and helping set up. The party was Monday evening. We shot off small fireworks. No big bottle rockets, but we did end up buying some things that were just as fun. We didn't know what they did, and they ended up flying pretty high! Tuesday I drove home and listened to the Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. The sixth Harry Potter book comes out in a few weeks, so I figured I might as well listen to the fifth book while driving.
My sister didn't check on Polar this weekend, so Polar was mad at me for the first few minutes I was there, but now she's back to wanting all the attention she can get.
Speaking of polar, I got the Memphis Zoo magazine over the weekend. This morning I read it, and it seems they're getting ready for the newest exhibit the Northwest Passage. They're getting two polar bears from Brookfield Zoo in Chicago, three black bear cubs, and three harbor seals. Woohoo! No word on any moose, though. The exhibit is planned to open March next year.
Now, I'm waiting to get in touch with Best Buy support to check on my camera.
