No Flood Damage... for us.
Yesterday, it was estimated that we got about 10 inches of rain at our house! Fortunately, we didn't have any flash flood damage. However, not too far from our house, that wasn't the case.
Because one of the main roads was partially underwater, it took me about two hours to pick up my daughter from the babysitters and to get home. Normally it would take me about 30 - 40 minutes.
I saw that flood water from a distance. It looked like I was driving toward a lake! The water has receded now, but I haven't been by to see any of the damage.
