Monday evening, my parents and I stopped by to see my grandfather. He seemed to be doing alright. His breathing and heart rate were steady, and he wasn't hooked up to the ventilator. He couldn't talk yet, but he's been sedated for a long time and has had a tube shoved down his throat.

Unfortunately, I got a call from my dad this morning. My grandfather passed away this morning around 4:00.

I'm sure my mom is taking it hard. I have the day off, so I'm going to be going over to my parents house.
