So we are officially booked for the Saturday of the 1001 Dreams themed weekend at the Texas Renaissance Festival for 2012.  As of right now that is tentatively October 13, 2012.  The wedding coordinator was telling me that there is talk of possibly expanding from eight weekends to nine weekends for 2012, and thus the date is not for sure.

So the dress was suppose to be ready on the 26th.  I called today to check the status and they said it barely shipped yesterday.  To call again in a week or two.  Boo.  Oh well.  At least I know it was shipped. Also went and bought wedding gifts!  Now I need a dress for Mary's wedding...

For all those on my flist that have experience beinging in a wedding in any capacity: how early I should I start woking on getting (ordering, try-ons, altering, etc.) a bridesmaid dress?  My only experience on being a bridesmaid was when I was 14 (over 10 years ago now) and had just been run over by a car a few months prior so I don't quite ( Read more... )
