Any Mac user out there want free stuff?
I'm doing this MacHeist thing where you have to go through some annoying--but simple--hoops to get a bunch of free software. It goes on for five weeks (around three free programs per week), culminating in a final "heist" that the organizers claim is totally worth your time.
It's actually ridiculously simple since people in the forums post all the answers... it took me two hours today to get through the "heist" (while I was also doing research for a paper and stuff... so I guess actual time invested was like 30 minutes or less), and now I get some relatively useful apps (this guy gives you links to what this week's are) for free. Well, I think it's a good deal, at least... since I hate spending money and all.
ANYWAY, the whole thing is INVITE ONLY, so if anyone wants in on it, I have 7 invites... and a pathetically small number of Mac-using friends.
