Tomorrow I am off to Tennessee for my side of the family's Christmas. I'm going to be there a whole week, and it is an interesting challenge to pack for myself and Margot. Well, Margot got to get off the glowing blanket yesterday. Her levels were low enough that they should continue to drop on their own. I'm glad we don't have to keep going to the lab at the hospital and then to the pediatrician every day anymore. Seemed like it was a little unneccessary to go every day. I have procrastinated enough: I am packing for the hospital a mere 7.5 hours before I have my appointment to be induced. Just didn't get around to it before now. So, the doctor appt went well. I'm a whopping half-centimeter dilated and more effaced than last week. Doc seemed very excited about the "ripeness" of my cervix. So excited that we have set a date for inducement:

Sunday, Nov. 30th.

Yes, that is a week and a half away. Yes, now I am officially freaking out.

Well, it was a pretty productive weekend. The car seat is installed, all tight and snug. I need to get on the BundleMe next (thank you, Gabby!). I didn't take it to the Safety Stop because I was afraid they'd tell me that they were unsafe-- in fact, the lady doing the installing said they were great for winter babies!
