I've seen a couple of 'drabble tags' or 'drabble trees' going around, and so I decided to do my own version here. Anyone, whether on my flist or not, is welcome to take part, whether you consider yourself a writer or not :)
Rules:
1. A drabble is defined in its correct meaning: 100 words, no more, no less. So no 150-word ficlets, no 80-word

Dead, Donna thinks as she comes to, because surely she must be. Or perhaps no quite, she amends silently, the pain shooting through her as she opens her eyes. Above her, the blue sky spreads infinitely and for a moment, nothing else comes into her vision, until the blonde girl bends over her, a mix of sorrow and resolve in her eyes.
Bad Wolf.
Not dead, but dying...but it's better this way , she thinks with her last breath as she lets go of the nightmare and turns to the promise of a better life.
Donna Noble turns left.

And I love yours. Death is such a twisted subject where the Doctor is concerned, and you showed that well.

And this is a lovely, twisty look at what death means for the Doctor. Nice work!

Hourglass
Time ticks away.
Two minutes, he said. So much to say, it’ll never be enough. Yet the words just won’t come.
Babbling about working in a shop, more Tylers on the way, Bad Wolf Bay... none of it’s what she really wants to tell him. It’s all meaningless, just as his replies are.
And time’s ticking away.
He’ll travel still - not on his own, of course. She’d never want that. She loves him, she tells him; never thought she’d say it, but now there’s nothing to lose.
His eyes are eloquent as he says her name...
Time runs out.

They really were, weren't they? He didn't need to say the words that followed, it was all in the way he said her name, the way he looked at her then. As if 'Rose Tyler' is the most beautiful thing he's ever heard. Beautiful drabble.

Word: Left
Left behind again. Only this would be for the last time.
The life expectancy for a member of the Torchwood team had always been low. Ianto had come to accept that early on in the job. He had come to learn that you must live life to the fullest because one never knows when the end is coming. Tosh and Owen were prime examples…
But that doesn’t matter now. The only thing that matters is that his last memory of Jack, his savior, was of him leaving them to face the Daleks alone.
While he ran off with another man.

Which is why I think I may not watch TW next year; they've taken away the only characters, besides Jack, whom I liked, and left me with the two I can't stand.

Gone
Left. Just like that, he left her again. She's traveled so far for so long to find him. There he was in his suit with his beat up trainers and his hair on end. It was all coming together. She could feel his nearness and it made her whole body shake in anticipation. Her tired legs protested as she raced towards him. She can see his grinning face and braces herself for the impact when he finally reaches her.
The impact that never came.
She was so close.
She was almost home.
And then that’s it.
Rose’s Doctor is gone.

That was... oh, it was horrible. After so much time, after trying so hard to get back to him, after missing him so much, and for him to get shot down by a Dalek before she's even touched him.
Great work!
