I found it very interesting watching Alexis get stitched up. I can observe those types of things with no trouble (The doctor brought in a chair and put it behind me just in case I got woozy. I told her I wouldn't need it. LOL), but I don't know if I could actually perform the procedure. Big difference between seeing and doing/touching. Make sense?

Is your sister practicing or in school?

Alexis told me yesterday that that she hopes she gets better by spring. She said she can deal with the stitches and the bruises, but she hopes the swelling will go away.

Go figure.

Today, it might be a different story. And tomorrow a different one. LOL.

I have to put antibiotic ointment in her eye. Last night she said that she could see sparks if she moved her eyes a certain way. I think it's because she's seeing through a haze of ointment (know what I mean?). Anyway, she has eczema, and when something weird-looking happens, it makes her itch. And her eye sparking was making her really itch last night.

My poor child. She feels things in such a BIG way (so sensitive and 'dramatic', but not in a diva-like way). I don't know how she's going to handle it when she has to start dealing with 'women's issues'.
