It's so frustrating to be 2 years old
I feel badly for Autumn. She is experiencing the frustrations of being 2 years old. She knows so much and gets bent out of shape when things don't go exactly as she wants. Yesterday she was very upset because she wanted me to "open" a pretend bowl of cereal. It's pretty realistic looking, has milky fluid sloshing around some pink play cereal. Autumn wanted me to take the plastic cover off so she could eat it. I gave her Cheerios and she said "NO, no Cheerios!"
It's a lot easier being a grandma during these times than it was when I was the parent. Now I understand this is part of the process and it's not permanent. Between melt downs Autumn is so sweet and funny : )
Going on our Tuesday shop at Goodwill with Mom today! I wonder what kind of treasures I'll find : )
