This evening around 7 pm my mother passed away.

She fought her cancer valiantly. Her last days were with all of her children, her husband, family, and friends.

She will be mourned by so very many.

She will be loved, forever.

By the way...mom only has TWO CHEMO SESSIONS out of 8 left to go. 6 down. 2 to go.

She continues with no horrific side effects, thank goodness. She is bald, but not ill. She gets TIRED the day of and day after Chemo...but no nausea. No other issues.

So. 5 more weeks...and she is DONE.

I feel a party coming on..........

So...this is going to be an update, I hope!

Her follow-up appointment was yesterday.

My brother-in-law (the cancer research scientist currently working at UPenn Hospital Research Center) went with her.

They are both pleased.

Now some of you already know this because I saw you at faire or someone who did see me at faire told you.

It is, in fact, cancer.

I knew it was the night of surgery, but I was waiting for the test results. I wanted all the info at once.
