On a separate note............
REASONS WHY I DISLIKE MY CATS
1) they wake me up at 2 a.m.:
a)jumping from the window to the dresser to the bed
b)pawing me in the face(with nails extended)to be petted
c)making horrible retching noises next to my bed
d)actually retching next to my bed (on the carpet, as opposed to moving a few feet to the hallway and the hardwood floors).
2) always jumping on the kitchen counters, especially while I'm preparing food, to jump up to the top of the cupboards and then
3)meow incessantly for whatever I happen to have out. lunch meat is a favorite.
4)always on the kitchen table when I walk in the door.
5)defiant enough to jump on the table while I'm eating and try to approach my plate.
6)running between my legs while I'm carrying laundry downstairs (I have told my family if they ever find me at the bottom of the basement stairs with a broken neck....)
7)fighting with the dog. one cat, I swear, is trying to remove the dog's eye.
8)the carpet, always the carpet......
