I have delayed writing up the synopsis for the next section of "The Siblings Come to Power" because I have ordered a book that I think will help me mold the chapters better. I want all the information I can get hold of before I put pen to paper. So I'm going on a mini-hiatus with that book. The book should be here by tomorrow so I'll get the synopsis written by the end of the week and will be ready to continue the novel in a week's time.
I completed
Soul Mates Volume V back in October of last year. I like to leave the first draft of a completed novel for as long as possible before going back to it for the second draft because it makes the story fresher and therefore it's easier to correct narrative mistakes. Because I am having a break from "The Siblings Come to Power" I decided it was time I went through "Soul Mates Volume V" for the final time.
I am over halfway through the book already. There is very little that's needed changing, as is usually the case with "Soul Mates". Something just clicks with me and these books. The writing flows out of me and it's always pretty much complete as soon as I move onto the next chapter. I think it's because I put so much work into the earlier volumes, which were written when my writing was still growing and so needed to be updated. I bonded with the characters and the story so much that now it flows out of me as easily as breath. I imagine I'll have the whole book completed within a couple of days.
My only concern is the title. At the moment it's called "Lost, Unfound" which is okay but just doesn't feel right to me. I always struggle with titles. Usually the books title themselves but this time I'm struggling.
