Give me insomnia, Terry Pratchett and a ball of yarn, and I'll just finish whatever discarded project just happens to lie about.
That's what I did last night going on to today. And here's the result:

After dabbling in lots of simple Amigurumi's, I wanted to do something with more substance, so I decided to do a Hello Kitty doll for my friend Bee. It wasn't as hard as what I thought but I modified the pattern a little because I didn't like the way they wanted you to do the dress.

I love this one. I have to make some more. It was just the easiest way I could figure out to make a chicken. I want to make an entire chicken family, including chicks.

( But for now, just a chicken ball )

This one was also pretty hard to conceptualize, and I was running on a deadline, so I just did something simple and cute.
