Hey guys,

It's been quite a while since I've posted anything to the community. I used to go under the name of masakiti, but now I've got a new journal.

I went through some rough times when I had neither wish nor time to crochet, but now things seem to be returning back to normal, and I've got my yarn and hooks from the drawer again.

Here's a wizard I've made:









I've also tried something new with this guy, maybe some of you will find it useful. You see, his hat and hem were curling upwards, and the hat actually resembled a Mexican sombrero:



So I took a transparent monofilament (which is, in fact, a thin fishing line) and stitched the edges like this, right through the yarn:
/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\

It didn't really save the day, but the edges now look better than before. Maybe a thicker line would do better.
