I haven't posted anything in ages because my brother brutally murdered broke my camera. Graduation dolls, a strange menagerie, and some other things besides

Witch:

This witch keychain is about the size of my thumb. I made it up as I went along cuz I was trying to figure out how to make a pointy end like the top of the hat.

Gaaramaid (Gaara from Naruto)

This doll is why I needed a pointy end :D Head and body is made from the standard head and body patterns in Creepy Cute Crochet (except heavily butchered). Arms are modified tubes. The tail fins were made from the wings in ( this golden snitch pattern ) and a lot of guesssing. I embroidered a heart instead of the actual love kanji on it, but I am so terrible at embroidering that the kanji probably would've looked better.

Alaina:

Graduation doll #1. This one is the smallest, because the yarn I used is thinner than the others. Head and Body from standard Creepy Cute Crochet, edited. Cap, as well.

Malia:

Graduation doll #2. This is the biggest. Different colors for different school. Head body and cap same as above. I got annoyed at the hat, so I made a disproportionately large ball on top of it.

Hilly

Hilly is a raccoon with an obscenely large tail. My friend wanted a keychain of him. It looks all wrong to me, but there's only so much you can do when the thing is the size of your thumb and you can't embroider to save your life.

Cocomoco

Cocomoco is a chinchilla. I wasn't sure how to go about the tail, so it's a bit wonky, but overall I'm happy with it. The hair is appalling. I cannot figure out how to make it short without it spiking up all over the shop. The yellow ball on the tail is supposed to be a bell. I was going to get a real one but the store only had really big ones. Head and body are from Creepy Cute crochet. Hat was edited from ( this cap pattern )

Cory

Graduation doll #3. Head, body, and cap are same as above. Once I finished this one, I had the brilliant idea to stick toothpicks in the hat to make it remain square instead of floppy because of the weight of the yarn.

Gabriel

Gabriel is actually my character, but my friend can stake claim since she can draw him and I can't. Head and body from Creepy Cute. I can't stand his hair at all, but he doesn't have a hat to wear. He's best friends with Cocomoco, so I made them both for my friend.

And I was going to make the red lolly in the pic, but I couldn't figure out how to make a tiny stick for it without using some other sort of material. I suppose I could have used a toothpick...

Poofy

Poofy the Elephant is from a story by Toratio in the Booshslashhaven comm. I used ( this elephant pattern ) for a while then butchered edited it to suit the description in the story. It took me aeons to make because the rounds are repetative and didn't hold my limited attention for much time.

animal, elephant, bunnies, lion brand pattern, witch, cartoon & anime characters, bunny, animals, raccoon, witches hat, character, mermaid
