A Strange Request...

Perhaps the best commission I've gotten since Painguin, the bionic penguin...

Huh. The prickles were my favorite part of the pattern.

Really? I had a real hard time getting my hook into the ami to do them. I don't know if it's because I crochet too tightly or what. It was just really difficult for me, and I kept getting angry when I first made one.

I can understand. I tend to use red heart for Amis and it feels like no matter how tight I make stitches, it's never toooooo tight. I liked it because it was repetitive in a relaxing way so I isn't have to concentrate so much. The hedgehog I made was so freaking cute. I was in love with him.
Then his package got lost in the mail and my friend never got it of course. Sigh.
Your frostinged guy is a cutie!

I try to use Caron Simply Soft for everything I possibly can. XD

I did actually make a hedgehog before, and it was crazy cute. I loved how he turned out in the end, it was just very difficult for me, when doing the coat. My hook kept getting stuck or dropping the yarn or pulling off stuffing or ... whatever else it was doing. I'm glad you like my guy, though. ^_^

That's so sad that your ami got lost in the mail!! :( I'm sorry for your loss~

That's exactly what I did!! I kept shaking him everywhere I went. The jingly sound was sooo tiny that it kept driving my kitten mad. She's like, "Where is that sound coming from?" You could see it in her eyes.

But thank you~ I'm glad you like him~ I love the name. XD

An icing topped, shaved hedgehog! Who'd have thunk it? He is really cute and I ditto the bell-love. Do they make a really high pitched ringing cause of their size?

They're not really high pitched... they're just like... almost nonexistent. Like, if you imagined how a fairy bell would ring. It's just this really amazingly tiny sound. I love it.
