I forgot Waitrose! *facepalm*

I'll leave it to you to decide what category to put "My local Wholefood workers co-operative" under.

I decided it was a local shop. For local people.

Market stall for extra fruit and veg. most weekends.

(Twice [roughly] yearly trips to local wholefood co-operative plus a couple to Waitrose.)

I suppose I ought also to have ticked Fortnum's. wemyss July 8 2010, 16:39:28 UTC
Mostly, though, it's the butcher, the greengrocer, the fishmonger, very infrequently a farm store (because that duplicates one's own production), and of course Abbey Stores and Harrison's and Bird & Carter when wanted.

I'd love to be able to tick "Farm Shop," since I do shop at the farmers' market whenever I can. However, since it's only open on Friday mornings, "whenever I can" equates to "once or twice a year, when I've taken Friday off because gaming is about to happen in my house." And even then, Prince Charles went and threw me out of it when I attempted my sole visit of last year.

This is the long explanation of someone who feels guilty about only ticking big national supermarkets, and wants to wave a tiny, hopeful little Local and Worthy Flag.
