Last Couple of Weeks Update

So, back on March 5th I started at my new job. It's kind of been a whirlwind the last couple of weeks and I haven't had time to put anything down except for my book tallies. The first three days consisted of a lot of meetings, time spent one-on-one with my new boss, and meetings with my new coworkers / team. I was also given the gift of shorter

Just today I landed a prime carpooling deal. Last night I had a car dealer saying he'd cross the metro area to pick me up and take me to dinner in order to close the deal on a special sales price that ended last night. I'll be keeping my eyes open and saving dollars for it, but the immediate pressure to buy is off.

It was "okay". The costumes were extravagant, the scenery was amazing, and Eric Bana made a perfect swarthy, imposing Henry. I also learned a few things that haven't featured prominently in the histories that I've read. However, it wasn't a top of the line period piece. If you're a fan of Henry, Anne and Mary, it's a sure bet you'd like it.

I had a great weekend, and I was glad I could spend it you and Laurie! And Snickers! Even though she hates me. :D
