84. Dead Right - Brenda Novak - 441 pages. A small town newspaper-woman decides to hire a private investigator to look into the disappearance of her father 20 years after he went missing. The police haven't made much headway with the case over the years except to keep their eyes on her step brother. As the PI looks into the case, many things from the past come to light that shock her, and she's not so sure hiring the PI was the right thing to do.

The overall story was pretty good, but the way they set up the protagonist, I kept wanting to scream at her to wake up and smell the coffee. Not the best thriller out there
