I am waaaaay behind on updating the last two weekend's events....
So here's a brief announcement. May 13th, I received a sewing machine and bought three gorgeous fabrics to re-cover some useful, but poorly colored throw pillows.
Tonight I sewed / re-covered four of them in two different fabrics! I still have two more to do in a third coppery fabric with sunbursts on it, and plenty of the other fabrics left over, so I can acquire some bolsters or other pillow forms and go to town making more matching pillows in different shapes and sizes!
Yay! This is impressive to me since I haven't sewed anything except putting a button back on or fixing a hem since highschool in 1987!
