50. Icebound - Dean Koontz - 405 pages. This book was originally released under a pen-name as "Prison of Ice by David Axton". Like another recent read of his Winter Moon there are two main story lines that end up intermixed. Researchers in the Arctic trying to work on ways to transport vast icebergs south to soften droughts, end up trapped with no rescue in sight. The second storyline is about a Russian Spy-sub captain. This is a straight thriller without any supernatural twists.
