Birthmom Update

It went smashingly well! Had a wonderful talk at Starbucks, lunch at Happy Garden (I have tons of leftovers now for the rest of the weekend), gave her the tour of the house, she met Snickers, and I showed her a bunch of photos, and we went fabric shopping at Fabric Depot. When we were in the checkout line we ran into one of her friends/former coworkers and she introduced me as her daughter! Her husband and a ton of other friends are excited to meet me, and she's already talking of passing heirlooms down to me down the line too.

All in all we had an amazing conversation and a fun time. I'm sure we'll be spending time again together soon.
