Found my birth mom (again)...
Tonight when I took out the trash, I finally went to check my mail from yesterday. DHS has sent me another copy of my original birth certificate and the contact info for my birth mom. I had remembered right from several years ago when I got the information prior that she is named Pauline and is in Salem.
I did some quick searches online to see if I could verify the info (because the form was filled out in 2000 and people can move a lot) and it seems like she is still there.
Tommorow I plan on writing an introductory letter with my contact info and seeing how that goes!
