Tonight there have been at least three calls...

For me from Research Companies. Nope, they aren't calling to hire me to do fabulous library research for them, they're calling to do surveys, and I'm not in the mood tonight. The phone rang a fourth time and it turned out to be my Dad. They finally found a replacement oven/range for the renters here in Portland, and he'll be back in town for the afternoon. The plan is that he'll pick me up at French Class, we'll go have a bite to eat, and he'll spend the night, then hop back on the road to go work his shift at the Oregon Coast Aquarium on Thursday.

I swear that man is on the road all the time. They've got rentals here in Portland, in Salem, and in Corvallis, and they live on the coast. Since there isn't much dense civilization on the coast, they also have to come into Salem & Corvallis for doctor, vision, dental appointments, and car service too. With the two dogs and three cats, they're often in caravan mode. Don't know how they do it, but that certainly isn't how I forsee spending my golden years... chasing all over the state running errands most of the time.

So, tomorrow, French Class, dinner with my Dad and a two hour training class at work. Should be busy!
