an interesting article
I found this article by Adam Kilgore of the Boston Globe pretty interesting. It's not super in depth, but still an interesting take on how things have changed for players coming to the MLB from Japan. It looks at the journey through the lens of two new Red Sox pitchers, Takashi Saito who was acquired from the Dodgers, and Junichi Tazawa, who the Red Sox signed directly from Japan.
