Hoston College Classic
Well last weekend was opening weekend at Olsen Field. Four games (double header on Saturday) of awesome. It was good to be back, ragging on opposing players, listening to Olsen music, and having a generally good time. Even if it was cold! I have some recaps and score cards over at my journal if anyone cares to see. Not sure if this is the place to be posting that stuff... let me know if it isn't.
But I wanted to tell anyone in the Houston area here that the Houston College Classic is coming up this weekend. (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday). It's at Minute Maid Park. There are three games each day, and a single ticket will get you into all three. They're pretty cheap, and you can buy a three day pass for just $30. This year's teams are Baylor, Houston, Rice, Texas A&M, UC Irvine, and UCLA. Five of the six (all but Houston) are ranked in the top ten. It should be a very fun and exciting weekend. The schedule and ticket details are in the link. I suggest buying tickets at the gate to avoid stupid fees.
