Anyways, the final tally is 1 water heater replaced, 1 furnace replaced, almost $2K to pump out, dry out, and disinfect the basement. City officials were in deniability mode saying they couldn't have done anything to alleviate the flooding. Hmm. The mayor is up for re-elect-
ion in the fall. Guess who I'm not voting for.
My neighbors lost a lot more. Only 1 I know had flood insurance coverage.
