Can't you trim the thorns off with a shear or something? [ Garviel does not have a green thumb. ]

I could...but then I'm sure some critter would get into 'em. Had a giant rabbit take out my blackberries last year.

Besides, they kinda add to the appeal of roses, that something so pretty can be dangerous too.

I was just walking along. I find that sometimes I just need to test the bounds of this place, look up people I enjoy speaking to.

Ah, nothin' wrong with that. To be fair, I kinda like this street, the gardens are nice. [He stands and brushes off his pants]

It's a nice day out today, that's why I'm out here gardening, and I bet it's perfect walk weather.
