[IC Journal - Zaifar] Written Journal Entry - "The Arrogant Mockingbird"
Guess what I found today?
Zain, sleeping in the courtyard of Undercity and huddled in a thick, warm cloak. What a strange sight.
He smelt of nightmare vine, tinges of purple lotus -- Really strong, pungent stuff. I wonder what was he on.
I took him to my old quarters at the Royal Apothecary sector. The moment he woke up, he started screaming and trying to choke me. Thankfully, I'm dead. Those fingers digging into my neck doesn't really matter to me. He went on yelling something about a death knight assaulting him. When I asked him who was it, he couldn't remember.
Well, so much for that. I offered to help him out and find his assailiants but he scowled at me and made me go make him a sandwich. (What?)
I did anyway, poor guy's probably hungry. He complained of aching bones and bruises all over him so I healed and treated him for bit. Though it seems like he was healed, it looks like whoever attacked him had been really brutal to him.
He left pretty quickly the next morning, guess he really did not want anyone's help.
I just wonder why.
I do not see the point of putting up such cold, hard exterior and distancing yourself from everyone who cared. Does pride really matter so much to him?
