I wanna watch them burn down so I can breathe again

Last monday i had two rather important appointments.
The first was with my new therapist, for the maladaptive scheme therapy. I like her, she realised that i knew a lot about them already, skipped the easy language and went straight ahead with the psychological terms. I like it when people do that, my other therapist used to talk down to me. I don't think that he realised that behind this facade and these problems, there's still a well-functioning brain.

I will have to see her again in September for the second intake. In October the group will start. Yes another group. I guess it has to do with the governement cuts in Healthcare. Individual care probably is too expensive. I don't mind that much, apart from the fact that it will be really confronting and amidst others i do not feel like showing me if you catch my drift.

Later in the afternoon I went to see the doctor since not only was a fed-up with my bowels not working, i was also bleeding from the inside out. That physical exam is not one i would like to go through again. Turned out my Irritated Bowels Syndrom has become chronic and i'll have to take medicines for my whole life. Joy. He once prescribed me a natural medicine, which tasted like chemical lemon, but since that didn't work, I'm now getting the stronger, chemical meds. Again that horrible lemontaste! Why???!!! And to make it even more lovely, it's also really salty. and i need to drink two glasses of the stuff each day. On an empty stomach. Yuk.
Well, let's hope it does its job.

Yesterday i only needed to work half a day since Ilona is back from her holiday. So in the afternoon i went to the citycentre, bought some new foundation, black nailpolish and cucumber facewash. Also a card for a co-worker who will be leaving us this week.
V&D finally had black tights again, so i stocked up on those again. I don't know why fashion thinks women won't wear tights during the summer. I think it's really unprofessional to come to work with bare legs. It's also rather uncomfortable if you are a bigger girl like me.

Last Saturday was fun as well. First i went shopping with Jantje. Bought a red scarf. Than we went to the animal shelter, where i made a donation. My older sister also showed us around the animals. All those cute cats! There's even a grey Persian in there. I'm not that fond about Persians, but this one was so cute and sweet!
And a long-time dream came true. If you've known me for longer, you'd know i love, love, love ugly small dogs like pugs and bulldogs. I got to walk with Daisy, an English bulldog! So cute! And the noises they make. It's like walking around with a piglet. Adorable.

Tomorrow I will be seeing UnderOath! Hopefully..... I'm having nightmares that the tickets will be sold out once we arrive at festival ground. That will be horrible beyond words!
