God that was fun!
I just spent 40 minutes standing outside the bar arguing passionately with my Catholic friend Ed about same sex marriage, the proper role of government WRT SSM and the difference between orthodox Jewish theology vs Christian theology (a rule based religion vs an actions based one). God! How fun! I could have kept it up all night! If the SDMB was actually anything at all like this (honest, respectful debate) I'd be devastated by my banning.
