Locus List is Out!
The Locus recommended reading list just came out, listing science fiction and fantasy novels, nonfiction, short stories, novelettes, and novellas that were published in 2015 that they think are worth reading.
If you're not familiar with Locus, they're a magazine that's ABOUT science fiction and fantasy, rather than one that has SF in it. So it includes news about which authors have sold which books to which publishers, reviews of recent science fiction, interviews with various authors, and articles about trends in SF.
In my experience, the folks at Locus have pretty good taste, and while I never like EVERYTHING on their list, I usually like much of it. Check out the Locus Recommended Reading List, if you want something to read that's NOT fan fiction.
