I entered the
Star Trek writing contest, even though I haven't a prayer of winning, just because you gotta do stuff like that or the Dream Fairy stops sending you dreams.
I thought I was going to be taking some time off of writing after finishing my entry, because I was exhausted afterwards, but I've been bitten by the bug again. I guess that's good, as long as I don't turn into a serious addict. I can stop writing at any time, really! :-)
The new story is called
"Personal Gods". Kirk and Spock investigate a planet where the things that are important to them are seemingly made manifest. You can guess who Kirk meets. :-)
This story is in two chapters, of which only the first chapter is posted, but they're really two separate stories united by theme, so Chapter 1 is a complete story by itself.
3672 words, rated T for language, no violence, no sex (which means that most readers will think there's also no point. Oh, well. :-D)
