I hardly no much about politics. But...Labor (the government that was/currently is in power) was winning by a fair bit. Now it looks like either Liberals will win by the  tiniest of seat margins OR there will be a hung parliament. This is SO strange.

A) Because the UK only just had a hung parliament thing at their election.
