Mark Sheppard LIVE IN THE FLESH (see what I did there?) + MSO (Melbourne Symphony Orchestra) + Ben Foster + Daleks, Judoon, Vampires of Venice, Cybermen, Ood, Silurians LIVE IN ALIENS (because they aren't persons right?) + Murray Gold + ~5,000 of my Whovian fellows + Matt Smith special personalised (to Melbourne) video + personal Whovian friend who I went with = excellent night.
Melbourne, Australia was the city finally under attack by aliens and monsters but the Dear Doctor was not here to save us so we made do without him. Afterall, we had Canton Everett Delaware III by our side...
Blurry Siluraians. <3
Ghostly Venice Vampire
My best photo, only because it was the only alien to come by our aisle!
The tiny red circle shows the blur of Mark Sheppard! (He never moved to our side of the stage though! :S) He's also the blurry person on the screen.
A Dalek seen through the dark..
The Daleks after interval said they had a slave conductor called Ben Foster (dude in the suit in front of the Dalek) who would be playing us Dalek music so we would serve the Daleks. It didn't work. But the music was lovely.
Here a little speech by the invading Daleks (that background is the foyer outside the hall/theatre!)
Vampires with Umbrellas
The side emergency exit doors open and smoke rolls out, when it disperses we find ourselves face to face, feet to feet, with CYBERMEN.
The Man. (Who wrote all the music for this concert) I only found out he was coming the night before via Twitter! I was excited. :D
Ood! Distant blurry Ood, but Ood still the same. I teared up a bit during the end of the Freedom Song..
MURRAY GOLD PLAYING the piano part of the Freedom Song! (I think it was that song?)
The circled ones are the groups with Ben Foster, Murray Gold, the soloists (I can update this with their names from the book if you like tomorrow?), and Mark Sheppard.
