I sort of forgot how long it had been since I posted here.
Sorry about that.
I've been watching a lot of television.
My current "reality shows" are Project Runway (I miss Casanova), Top Chef Just Desserts (which is much harder to watch hungry than normal Top Chef), Chopped (it's fun to figure out what I would make), and America's Next Top Model (especially since Andre Leon Talley is just so spiffy). (Also very old Iron Chef reruns on Cooking Channel.) Basically, food and fashion. The fun stuff!
The new shows I'm trying out, besides Just Desserts, are The Event, Hawaii 5-0, and Undercovers, and maybe Running Wilde for the cast even though the reviews are bad. I think I might have forgotten something in that list.
My pre-existing shows that are coming back soon (so obv. not Royal Pains, White Collar, Burn Notice, Doctor Who, Leverage, Eureka, Breaking Bad, or Parks and Rec, which will take longer), in no particular order and besides the reality shows, are Warehouse 13, Mad Men, Chuck, Castle, Caprica (YAY), Glee, Bones, Fringe, Community, 30 Rock, The Big Bang Theory, The Good Guys (maybe), Human Target, and Lie to Me if it belongs on this list or up with Doctor Who and Leverage otherwise. Also, I'll try the Syfy Being Human, and I need to watch all the BBC America Being Humans that are waiting on my DVR. I think that's everything, but I'm not sure. I watch way too much television to be able to remember it all, so thank goodness for the DVR.
I'm not watching Parenthood anymore, for various reasons including their television overload (damn look how long that list got!) and their support of Autism Speaks, one of the most deceptively named organizations ever.
How I Met Your Mother has been moved to the "buy the DVDs and binge watch" list because that's how I got into it in the first place.
I'm also watching The West Wing on DVD; I'm near the end of the sixth season, and just have the seventh and first seasons to watch after this. I've seen almost all of 2, 3, 4, and 5, but not most of the first season.
This television list is probably going to get pared down significantly once I start job training next Tuesday.
