OK so I have been out of touch as the cleaning up for the pack out happened.  I took everything out of each cabinet and washed the cabinets, then washed the items as I added them back.  This allowed me to check the shape of each item.  I consolidated  as I went so most of the small breakables were in one room.

Then divvy out the Unaccompanied gear (items that will ship via air to arrive sooner), PRO gear (items that are professional use by the military member and therefore do not add to the shipping weight), and things to go into the suitcases to be lived on for the next umpteen days.

Then came the 3 days of the packing by Arrowdene so I hide the suitcases and items for them in the Bathrooms, (also items we will need to use till I fly out Aug 31, and Arasin flys out Sept 25th). Then we have separated the PRO gear and one man packs it and numbers it separately.  The other 5 scatter through the house picking a room and start packing it up.  I was incredibly lucky this time to have 2 friends come over and help do the "be there to answer questions by the packers, and keep them from doing dumb things with my items." Arasin took the outside man and PRO gear man, I took the glass and mementos guy as well as running up and down the stairs helping everyone else.  Like I caught one guy taping my wooden jewelry box shut.  If that had not been caught it would have destroyed the finish on the wood, I bought this box back in 1973.  Lots of stress !

At the end of the day 3pm they packed the boxes they had done into the wooden crates that will be placed into a container at their site and then shipped overseas via a container ship.  4 crates done, 2 more days to go.  Total was 3 days and 1 hr of the 4th day, total 12 filled crates, 1 1/2 crate for the sofa ( they are special?), and 1/2 of a crate for my 3 wheel bicycle and table and 3 other items.  I will be able to call for the weight on Tuesday.

We got the loaner furniture (beds, couch, table, chairs) loaner kitchen kit, and bedding for a twin bed even though we have a double for us.  sigh!  not sleeping good and I hurt in my back, knees and spirit.

It is done.
