3rd Staple [Voice/Action] - Backdated to earlier, before the tent showed up

[ To anyone who's interacted with Senjogahara before, you'll notice her voice sounds a little more... strained than usual. ]

Not that there was much humor to it in the first place, but this really isn't funny anymore.

[ There's a pause. ] I wouldn't suppose there happens to be a man named "Oshino" living in the village?

[ During the day, ( Read more... )

[She doesn't normally like talking to Hitagi, but she knows the other is probably freaked out. So lets try getting along.]

Oshino isn't here, Senjogahara-san.

[ Try getting along? Says who. ]

While none of the buildings are quite run-down enough to suit his sort of style, I will not discount the possibility that he is here until every single person has told me they haven't met him.

[Hitagi why must you be so difficult.]

If he was here I'm sure I would have heard him over the journals by now, considering how long I've been stuck here.

[ It's just the way she is~ ]

Ah, but that would mean he'd have to pay attention to the journals. I often forget that this silly thing exists entirely, myself. I was asking if anyone knew him, since I wouldn't be surprised if someone like him wouldn't even respond even if he were to hear me.

If you don't know him, why are you still wasting my time?

But I do know him. He's the one Araragi-san called to help me. I heard his voice and everything. No way he would just forget the journals exist!

[she groans.] Look, I'm trying to be helpful because we come from the same world. You can at least be grateful.

Why would I be grateful to you? Do you think you've done something to deserve it? I doubt that. Children these days seem to be under the impression that they're entitled to everything. Really, if there's anything that's responsible for the declining birthrate, it would be the children themselves, I'd think. Who would want to raise something that's just going to demand everything it wants and never give you a moment's peace? I'd sooner kill something like that than give in to such petty commands. However, since murder is rather frowned upon, it would be much better to just prevent the whole disaster in the first place.

[voice] - hey LJ I hear you have these awesome things called notifs, where did this one go :| weightlesscrab November 4 2010, 20:33:06 UTC
Well, it isn't as if you would have any basis for knowing, would you. And certainly stranger things have happened in the past. Rather, it would in fact be quite tame if someone were simply never a child. Many adults nowadays seem to never have grown up, so why shouldn't there be those who weren't ever young?
