So I'm still in Ithaca with Katie. :) Her car got rearended on Wednesday when the 3rd car in line hit the dude behind her into her, and the 4th car in line hit the pile. Her car is in surprisingly good shape after this and is still drive-able. We went back to her home-town of Oneonta yesterday where I met her parents and her pets that she left there. Mr. Atwood the kitty and I get along very well, as do her dog Lucy and I. Atwood is a lot like my old cat Khan was, in looks and behaviour, thus like myself also, and Lucy is pretty much as tall as my old basset Patience was with the brain of Bailey. That was awesome. Poe the kitty, who is 18, was nice but she depresses me slightly because she is so damn old. Like... it;s just sad to think she won't be there long. Her parents were marvelous and brought us to Brooks' where I had some fucking amazing barbeque chicken and my $8 dinner was large enough to feed 20 Somalians. I think it went well. I like them and I'm pretty sure they like me too. :)
Katie brought me to SUNY O so I could see the campus I almost decided to transfer to. Turns out I probably could have done that. It would have been prime. I also got the drive-through tour of Hartwick on the way home from Brooks' because Katie's dad thought I should see it. That campus is nice, you can see the whole town from the top of the hill. It's cool! I met Katie's friend Vera when we picked her up for ice cream before Katie and I went back to Ithaca. Vera is wild. Pretty damn cool, but we will have to meet again when we can all hang out for more than an hour. :)
Anyway, I like roadtripping with Katie. It's a lot of fun because time flies. The way up we listened to Nirvana's Incesticide through, and on the way back we could probably have finished listening to Soundgarden's Superunknown, but ended up cutting it off after the 6th track because at some point after that shit starts skipping, and then listened to Green Day's Insomniac through. I love a girl with good taste in tunes. :D

And here is a weird stoner theory I just came up with and I'm not even stoned. Time speeds up the older you are man. Like... for real. Time is relative and open to how you interpret it. The older you get the less of your life a year really is. It's a downward spiral that keeps speeding up. The snowball effect. When you're first born that first year seems to take forever, so on and so forth because it's then 1/2, 1/3, 1/4 of your life etc. But when you keep getting older, you hit 50 and a year is only 1/50 of what you've already experienced, then 1/75, etc, etc. Fawking craziness man.

Ayep. I don't know when I'll be back, but you can all still call me/IM me.
Peace, love, and pineapples.

PS - if you respect rock and roll in the least, you must view this live Alice in Chains video of Sunshine in Lansing 1991 as it is quite possibly one of the best live performances I have ever seen. Layne's mic cuts out so he and Jerry use the same mic and it is amazing. Amazing
