I've spent the past week+ sick and mostly sleeping. It started out a week ago Sunday, when I thought I caught the boys' cold. I dripped and sneezed and snorted for a couple of days. I had it done Wednesday. Wasn't scared at all, I just wanted it over with. I love the stuff they give you before the anesthetic that makes you all loopy, except I usually end up asking the doctors and nurses weird questions like "What keeps the radio waves from bouncing off my kidneys and flying right back atcha?"

Day 2 in the hospital started out uneventfully, other than the fact that the sun blasted in through my window from 8AM to almost noon. I'm never a huge fan of direct sunlight, and I was still in the "light hurts my eyes" phase, so I spent much of the morning lying on my right side facing away from the window.
