Deadapalooza!
Yay! My new debit card came in the mail today! So I instantly used it to buy tickets to three SIFF horror movies: Dead Snow, Deadgirl, and I Sell the Dead.
I've been hearing about Dead Snow for six months. It's a Norwegian movie about hot young skiiers vs. Nazi zombies. Zombie Nazis? I'm not sure what the proper word order should be there. But ZOMBIES! Who are NAZIS! Can anyone think of a worse monster than that, other than Dick Cheney? Oh wait, he IS a zombie Nazi. My bad.
Deadgirl looks to be the most intellectual, weird and challenging of the three. I'm not even going to venture into the description. Check it out on IMDB if you're interested.
I Sell the Dead is a black comedy from Larry Fessendon's Glass Eye Pix. And Larry acts in it! I kinda worship Larry Fessendon. And I can't wait for his upcoming movie, Satan Hates You. I have no idea what it's about, but I'd see it for the title alone!
