Angie is absolutely right!!! We all can't deny that we periodically check this site, hoping someone has some interesting bit of information that will momentarily pique our interest, meanwhile ourselves neglecting to post. So anyways, here's an update on my life.
School. What can I say about school? I've kind of settled into a nice routine, which involves me skipping about 50% of my classes because I find them absolutely useless. But nothing too hard really. Yeah, academically wise, there's really nothing interesting going on.
However, I'm happy to admit that I have socially evolved!!! Yay!!! Mostly through Maria, I've made some awesome friends, and all of them happen to be Latino. I think I knew a long time ago that they are my preferred type of people to be around, but sometimes I'm just amazed at the stark contrast between Latino personalities, y las formas de ser de los demas. I mean, every culture has its flaw, but I think it's safe to say that I've basically been assimilated into the Latino culture. Honestly, the only times I speak English are when I'm at class, and talking to my parents.
Which directly brings me to the most important and foremost aspect of my life. My two year anniversary with Javier is coming up, which to a lot of people may not seem like a lot, but it is for me. (Two months was a lot to me in highschool...Man, all of my previous and insignificant relationships added together, and multiplied by...four...don't add up to two years.) Anyways, I'm very happy to say that everything is as wonderful as it ever was, and gets better every single day. Sure, being thousands of miles away is really shitty, but somehow we'll manage. AND LESS THAN TWO MONTHS TO GO BEFORE I SEE HIM AGAIN!!! One month is a very short time in comparison to the other eleven, but my plan is very simple, and worked well last December. Spend every second with him. And as for the wedding...well. I always wanted a ridiculously huge and extravagant wedding, with all my friends...but there's something undeniably romantic about eloping and getting married on some forgotten beach in Panama. (Now all I have to do is figure out how to get my original birth certificate from my parents without them noticing!)
Anyways, and that's life in a nutshell. (If anyone can tell me where that phrase came from...well...I'll probably do nothing that's of any significance. But I will thank you profusely, in writing of course. Unless that somehow makes it less significant.)
