(no subject)
so I saw Brett Dennen (musician) last night- yummy. Folk/reggae/blues-ey feel to his tunes. Just happy stuff. And a good lyricist. I'm lovin it right now. Probably going to listen to it til I get sick of it. I've done that a lot this summer. Anyway, the show was great. At the showbox, so a small venue, we were right up front, and you could just tell these guys (brett had bassist, guitarist, drummer set up) were having the time of their lives playing their music. And that's really what its all about.
Summer is winding down. I go back to school in 3 weeks. nuts. I'm mostly fully recovered from the chicken pox. still some spots here and there, hopefully won't scar too bad. But I'll probably have some scars. raaar scars are cool though, right? hehhhh kinda. I'm just glad it's over.
having chicken pox gave me the opportunity to read Harry Potter. Not the 7th book, because I never read any of them, so I had to start at the beginning. Almost done with 3rd book. Rad. so I guess I'm a HP fan, now? kinda? hmm
sleep is overcoming me. I'll write more about sarah's summer time later. night.
