it's a good life for a short time
I miss them. My buds from college. I miss college. Hmmm.
But being home has been amazing. It's been real great. I've earned money here and there, had a few jobs, but really, I've just taken time off and enjoyed being back home. I got back from London/Paris not to long ago. It was incredible, to say the least. And even though I was there for about 9 days, that's not nearly enough time to really experience that part of Europe... but by the time the trip was over, I can say we were exhausted and ready to come home. I got to visit Becca, since she is studying abroadly now in London. It was fun to cruise around London with her.
Well, what else have I done this summer? A while back, Morgan came up to Washington to go to his brother's homecoming, so I got to hang out with him, see his house/meet the fam... We cruised around Seattle and had a splendid time together. He'll be coming up again for his sister's wedding, so that'll be fun some more. And THEN...
So my room mates were all planning on coming up to WA to visit, since they are all from Utah, and we've all been to each other's house BUT mine... but then as the summer went on, things kind of fell apart, and it wasn't looking like anyone was going to come. Well, I just talked to April a little bit ago, and she assured me that she was for SURE coming, and with Josh, and Tricia, and Morgan, and possibly John. Only Keely and Cait can't come. That is a bummer. Maybe next time!
SO yaaaaayah. I'm excited for that.
Also- The Format is playing at a music festival in Utah a few days after I go back for school. YES. So there. And some other bands are going to be playing too. It will be tasty. AND I just found out Sherwood is playing in Utah when I'm there! Maybe I can FINALLY see them. I want to so badly.
I'm excited for the fall. Washington has been amazing. But I am excited for school to start again. Summer really has been grand, though. Lot's of bon fires, swimming, and getting to look soooooo good. Or something. I am starting to get a tan. Pretty nice.
