(no subject)
I want to go running. But it is OH so cold :-/ And I don't feel like driving to the club. hmph.
Today turned out just great. I amazingly got my Health powerpoint finished in time for 6th period. See, I had it ALL worked out, I was just going to add some finishing touches to it during lunch at school... Then my CD won't upload my powerpoint. But with the use of my laptop and Haley's USB drive, it was made possible thankfully. And it was a sweet presentation. It was about Hallucinogens, mainly LSD. So I made the powerpoint all psychedelic. I of course incorporated the Beatles into my presentation somehow...
Speaking of the Beatles, Becca is right. The Redwalls are a great band. I was listening to one of the songs (I think it was Colorful Revolution?) but I was like, "Uh, woah. Is this Bob Dylan singing?" But they also have a Beatles feel to them... and some other bands from that 60's era. Just an overall 1960's style. LOVE it. Yeah. Listen to Colorful Revolution, and the guy sings SO much like Bob Dylan. And the song sounds like a Lennon song. Its good to see a band takin it back to the roots... If anyone has a band they'd think I would like, please say so. I would appreciate it.
There is so much good music out there. Sometimes, it seems so overwhelming because I feel like I will never find all the good music there is. Because I will just randomly stumble upon some sort of music, and I will love it, but then I worry... I'm sure there is more stuff like this out there, or completely different stuff, but how do I find it? Ya know? K maybe not. But I know.
I just want to spend my life studying ALL the music out there. That would be very satisfying.
The semester is almost over. And that means my Pop Culture Music class will be done. That class was so awesome. Except now we are gonna spend the next few days watching this rated R movie about Tina Turner. hmph. I will have to sit in the Library AGAIN. Jeeze, so many of my classes nowadays are watching rated R movies. outta control.
But our final for that class is tight- we have to make a CD with all the songs we would choose if we could only have that one CD while stranded on an island. So I pretty much need to pick my top 15 songs. That is gonna be SO HARD. jeeze
Anyway. This weekend was Swingin' in Vienna. I will post pictures because they are fanTAStic! It was a great night :D
