All becoming a little too real
Tomorrow I have a site meeting with the contractors who will be coming to fix my house, which is now just 14 days away. I have been ignoring it all for some time now, but with the site meeting tomorrow it's suddenly become all too real.
Yes, in 14 days time I am going to be kicked out of my house. I am then going to spend just over 3 weeks living with my parents. Oh joy. Can I tell you how much I am not looking forward to it. And I really have to start getting serious about all the packing. In 14 days time there can be othing left in my house. Yikes. I have so much crap and I can procrastinate no longer. I have booked a week off prior to 'the event' so I can get the packing done, 'cause I am clearly not going to do it otherwise.
Can I just tell them I actually don't mind the cracks in the walls, they're not bothering me? The house isn't stracturally damaged by them. Let's just leave them there.
