Oh, right.
I just got an email saying my credit card was charged $20 for livejournal. I must've set up automatic payments. You know what this means, right? I should probably USE livejournal if I just ended up paying for another year of it. So I'll try.

- Babies are hard work (duh). But really, they will change your life and every second of it. They will change your plans, change the way you look at things, change your relationships with people and the world, etc. The boy is a month old now. He is much easier to handle than he was in the beginning. And I'm pretty sure I got smiled at yesterday. He is a handful for sure, but those moments when I'm holding him and he's grabbing onto my hand or shoulder or drifting off to sleep on me or studying my face as I'm studying his...those are lovely.
- I turned 30. It wasn't so bad.
- S is getting me a very unique present for my birthday. It will happen on June 12. I will post a picture afterwards.
- We have a new employee in my department. He's nice and seems to be picking things up quickly...the best I could hope for.
- I have 3(!) baby showers this month. And they're all boys, too. Is this the year of the boy or something?
- We are counting down the days until our week-long beach vacation with family. 32 to go.
