The calm after the storm
My project from hell is finally over. We finished yesterday. It's amazing how easy everything seems after that. And I don't take my lunch breaks for granted anymore! I also feel like a coworker and I have finally bonded over the experience and the common enemy.
Nothing much else to update. Contractors should be starting the work any day now since we got all the approvals needed. Parents will be up for good in about 2 weeks. I can't believe Thanksgiving is next week already. And the holidays are just around the corner. Whew. Time is flying.
Oh, and last night we treated ourselves to a Coldstone Creamery creation called "After Dinner Mint" - dark chocolate peppermint ice cream with chocolate shavings, oreo cookies, and marshmallows mixed in. YUM.
