Youtube has decided to start favouring the Iphone/Ipad so their default code that you copy to embed a vid is now Iframe code.
If you want to embed something in to an LJ post or comment you'll need the *old* coding.
To get it, click the embed button as usual. Down under the window full of code, where you can see a row of little ticky boxes, you'll see one at the bottom marked "use old embed code." If you put a tick in that box then the old style embed code (the one that works for posts in LJ) will appear in the window and you can copy that.
I wasn't going to post about this but recently I've seen three different posts by people where they said they couldn't get youtube embedding to work any more so I wasn't sure everyone realized that the Iframe coding is the problem, at least on vids where the embedding hasn't been disabled.
