Yesterday I got to come home at noon instead of 10pm - woot! I celebrated with laundry, cooking, paying the rent, drawing, and writing. xD
Today there will be more of the same. It's sunny outside again, and warming up a little (translation: there's no wind and bits of the 5-foot-tall snowdrifts might start melting a bit.) I need to vacuum in here, and I want to open a window so badly it's not even funny. Come springtime, I'm going to put on a sweater and just deal with the cold so I can air the place out!
In other news, it looks like I have a job for the summer. I was offerred the Prop Supervisor position at the Texas Shakespeare Festival in scenic Kilgore, TX. The last time I was there was thirteen years ago, when I was the Props Artisan. I'm curious to see what's changed (and what's stayed the same, lol). I'll be heading out there on May 22nd, and be there until July 8th. I need to find out what they have for internet access... their schedule is intense (around 60 hours/wk for all 6 weeks), but I'll go mad if I can't get online at least a little!
The brain is currently going a mile a minute; I can already tell that today will involve lots of hopping from one task to another. About half a dozen little projects are jumping at me to come play with them, and I want to deal with as many as possible while I've got time.
